Cavas Stars

Since 1987, every summer Castillo Perelada hosts one of the most prestigious music festivals in Europe. This cava is a tribute to all the artists who year after year honour us with their presence, shining like the stars of the Empordà sky under which they perform.

Stars Brut Nature 2014

Designation of origin: Cava
Varietals: Parellada (55%), Macabeu (25%), Xarel·lo (20%).
Ageing: A minimum of twelve months in bottle, before disgorging.
Tasting note: Pale yellow colour with some greenish hints. Crystalline and bright. Its generous stream of fine bubbles forms a perfect crown. In the nose it is clean, with fruity notes and some slight ageing notes. Dry, smooth and complex in the mouth, it has a great tasting balance.

Stars Brut Reserva

Designation of origin: Cava
Varietals: Xarel·lo (47%), Parellada (27%), Macabeu (26%).
Ageing: The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, following the traditional method. It stays in the cellar for fifteen months before disgorging.
Tasting note: Bright yellow colour. Good bubble detachment. On the nose you can feel the ageing notes and some fruity hints. Its well balanced structure, elegance and sensorial richness form an unmistakable personality.

Stars Touch of Rosé Brut 2014

Designation of origin: Cava
Varietals: Garnatxa (90%), Pinot Noir (10%).
Ageing: The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, following the traditional method. It stays in the cellar for twelve months before disgorging.
Tasting note: Pale pink in colour. Bright and limpid. Its fine bubbles detach, forming a crown in the surface. Its aroma is clean, floral and fruity, long-lasting and elegant. Complex on the palate, very fruity, smooth, silky, with an excellent balance.
