Finca Malaveïna (“Bad Neighbour”), a curious name whose origins are lost in time) is a vineyard designed to make extraordinaire wines. It covers an area of 19 hectares of red clay slopes, and enjoys an amazing vista of both the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees. The yield per hectare is 5,000 Kg, approximately.

Designation of origin:
Empordà
Varietals:
Merlot (63%), Cabernet Sauvignon (17%), Cabernet Franc (14%), Garnatxa Negre (6%),
Ageing:
22 months in new Bordeaux barrels of Allier French oak, rest in bottle.
Tasting note:
Cherry red color with a high layer. Powerful aroma, remember the black fruits, with a background of spicy and toasted notes. The palate is round, fleshy and structured. The acidity is very fresh and the tannins are very round, giving a feeling of creaminess. It has an excellent balance, with a good step of mouth and long aftertaste. It is a wine with a marked personality of the farm from which it comes and has a great potential for aging.
