Perelada, a Catalan winery under the Empordà Designation of Origin, ranks as the 43rd most admired winery in the world according to the renowned annual "The World's Most Admired Wine Brands 2024" ranking, published by the recognized industry magazine Drinks International. It is the first time that Perelada has been included in this prestigious list.
“Our voting Academy consider a range of elements when choosing their Most Admired Wine Brands including the price to quality ratio of the wines, the brand strength, its history and sustainability credentials. Perelada performs very well in all of these areas, making its debut in our ranking thoroughly deserved”

The fifty most admired brands include other Spanish wineries such as Familia Torres, Vega Sicilia and Cvne. They had all previously been listed, but Perelada is the highest new entry this year.
“Inclusion on the list of the most admired wineries is a recognition of over 100 years of history, a constant promise to quality and innovation, and a firm commitment to the land and sustainability, symbolized by the new winery, distinguished as one of the most sustainable in the world”, according to Javier Suqué, president and co-owner of Perelada.
Perelada's inclusion in the Drinks International list is further international recognition of its excellence in winemaking and cava, as well as its dedication to innovation <and sustainability, in both its highly efficient winery and its efforts to implement sustainable practices in its vineyards. At the same time, Perelada considers that this recognition is a fresh boost for the international profile of the Empordà Designation of Origin.
